COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

Taimako-CDI's CDS also covers but not limited to the following;
1. Community/Town Hall Meetings in communities: to advocate, sensitize, enlighten and support the rural and urban populace on community development services which include education, economic empowerment, peace building/Countering Violent Extremism, good governance, community coalitions etc.
2. School Sensitization: TCDI visits rural primary schools, junior/senior secondary schools and higher institutions to sensitize them on computer -based activity and the world of ICT, enlightenment on countering violent extremism (CVE) through education and skills acquisition training among others.
3. Adults & Youth and Women Classes: TCDI has adopted an oriental number of Non- formal Learning Centers to help children, youth and adults to strengthen their careers, numeric skills, logic, social and emotional with a view to eradicating the aversion for conventional knowledge (western knowledge).
4. Community Stakeholders Action Circle (CSAC): This is an interesting fora that brings stakeholders under one umbrella to pursue a common goal. It is an avenue that promote unity and understanding among members of the community.
5. TCDI Community Reorientation Programme: This periodic event exposes Youth and adults to vital community development skills and guidance towards communal engagement for community development services.
6. Annual Convention: Affords the initiative the opportunity to interact with the larger community and share perspectives especially during festive moods etc.
7. Civic Education and Gender Programmes for youth in communities: It is an entire educational programme that deals with civic education and gender issues only for youth; girls and boys.
8. Health Awareness/Nutrition Campaigns: TCDI evolve the use partners in the health sector to mobilize, enlighten, sensitize and educate the communities on outbreak of diseases; prevention treatment and cure as well as on nutrition. The aim of this is to prepare them on how to accommodate seasonal change on health perspectives.
9. Religious Actors' Circle (R.A.C.): This programme seeks to mobilize and organize religious leaders and groups to engage them with the real issues of the concept of mutual coexistence and encourage them to promote peace and harmony in their respective communities.
10. Consultancy Facilitation Services: TCDI, considering the batch of experience personnel who attained local and international trainings/skills do offers consultancy services in various capacities and programmes based on terms and conditions.
11. Recovery and Livelihood programmes for IDPs and Victims of Insurgency in Camps and Host Communities.
